Bill, I bought a used Lowrance worldmap 1000 with a 5 inch screen for = $85 on e-bay. The difference between it and the Avmap? Database that can be = changed with the home PC and them little flashcards that come in our digital cameras. Oh yeh, forgot to mention Worldmap is a marine unit and as = anyone knows when the word aircraft is mentioned the price goes up 10 times. = About to become your neighbor as I'm looking at a place near Columbus (Ft. = Benning area).
