Dan,
      I happened to re-read an E-mail you sent earlier about cooling
the oil cooler. Mine is cooled by ram air through the oil cooler and the
air exits through the rear of the cooler. The "ram" air comes from the 
inside
of the cowling. I will check the aircraft logbook for comments. The A&P
that built and flew  his KR2 for 147 hours on this engine is (or was, I 
don't know)
from Tulsa. (American Airlines).
