Larry, Stretching and widening an already made boat is not worth the trouble. Stretching is simpler as you could scarf and reinforce everything but to widen it is another matter. You would have to split it down the middle. Just not feasible. I agree with Chris Theroux....start from scratch and build the boat to your needs. Building the boat is actually one of the simpler task of building a KR.
