Steven,
     The best version of the KR-2 is the KR-2S simply because it has more 
length.  The original KR-2 was designed just a little bit shorter than it 
should have been and this created a control problem.  The KR2S is just a 
stretched out KR-2.  Even if you want a single place the KR2 the S would be 
the one to build because the KR-1 is only 12 feet long and has she same 
problem.  You can build the KR2S and just make the fuselage as narrow as you 
want it to be taking into consideration your size and how roomey you want 
the cockpit to be.
