Ok I have a different problem. . I am trying to go from taildrager to tri,
I think I have the grove gear. now I talked to Dan Deihl today and he was
saying that If I turned the gear around and placed them on the back side of
the front spar the center of the main gear must be less than 4.5 inches
behind the rear of the spar, also he said that the belly of the kr2 should
be about 16.5 inches at the spar. He said that his nose gear would be to
short for anything higher, of course my measurements are 5.5 to 6 inches
behind the spar and 18.5 inches from the floor . did anyone have these
problems? I need to talk to Dan and see if I mount the mains on the front of
the spar but turn them around if they will be to far forward . has anyone
shortend their gear and do I need to?
