Dan, I think the shape of the header tank has got a lot to do with it. Mine
is not
a big rectangular, mostly flat bottom shape but rather is very shallow at
the front and sort of swells untill reaching max at a point +/- 170 mm
forward of the spar. At this point it follows the contour of the front deck
on the top surface and forms a point at its lowest point in the centre. The
whole tank slopes down to this point. I had to purchase the XCOM760 radio
because the Microair was just too long and would have come up against the
tank!
