Hi Robin;

Well, from my standpoint, I have an existing KR-2 that uses the RAF-48
airfoil. The AS-5046 airfoil will fit the existing spars so that I won't
have to replace them even though I will have to cut loose and raise my rear
spar about 3/4" to match the new incidence angle of +1.75degrees because my
horizontal stabilizer is already set at 0 degrees and I don't want to change
it. If I were to go with the AS-5048 airfoil which is taller I would have to
replace both spars with new ones. The AS-5048 airfoil at the root would be
used if I were building from scratch and the AS-5045 airfoil would be used
at the tip. The whole root wing from end to end would be the AS-5048 airfoil
and the outer wing panels would be AS-5048 at the root and AS-5045 at the
tip. I just don't want to go to the extra work of replacing my whole wing.
