I should have mentioned that I want to attach the hinge without the use of rivets on the top cowl. I have located a few web sites that show how to attach the hinge with rivets, but I have a clear coat carbon fiber top cowl that I don't want to see rivets on. I think I can just glass in the hinge if I put large enough holes in.
