Oh BTW, I need to look up the firewall in the plans I purchased. Would you believe I think I have alumn foil for cooking with that feels thicker then what was on the plane. I stripped that off with my fingers. Whomever owned that project used staples, roofing nails and regular home depot bolts to hold what looks like used to be a front landing gear. Though the project looks like someone else started it and got it to a boat stage (and did a good job) and then someone else finished it before whatever happened that it got to the condition that it did.
