I have concerns about passing a medical also. I contacted an EAA Pilot Advocate and had a discussion about my options. The physician I talked to assured me that it is highly likely that I would get a waiver but due to my condition/situation the tests they may require could get real expensive and once you start you have to finish. then he asked if light sport was an option. I'm building my KR with light sport in mind. This is most likely not an option for a KR that has already completed the 40 test period and has the made the proper entry in the log book but I am confident mine will be Light Sport eligible.
