I've been using WingX on iPad for my VFR XC flying for about a year and am very
satisfied. The internal iPad GPS is very dependable. The flight route planning
is handy and easy to modify route at any time. Updating weather depends on 3G
reception, so it comes and goes during flight; but I really like the sectional
view and the enhancements like terrain, obstacles, extended runways etc. make
it extremely handy.
