I know this is a bit slow, but is all I've been able to find about Jack. It appears he has been moved to Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, TN and will eventually go to the Veterans spinal cord injury rehab center in Augusta, Georgia.
I would suggest that we as individuals all send Jack and Sandy a card to let them know we are thinking about them. Jack is an Army Helicotpre Vet and veterans day is coming up next week, so it would be a good time to drop him a card to let him know we are all thinking of him. The pilot of an experimental aircraft that crashed Oct. 11 at Hensley Airpark in Chuckey remains in stable but critical condition, his wife said Monday. Jack Cooper suffered serious spinal injuries in the crash and was a patient at Johnson City Medical Center for several weeks. He is currently at Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, Sandra Cooper said. "From there we will go to (a Veterans Affairs medical center) in Augusta, Ga., for spinal cord injury rehab," Sandra Cooper said. Jack Cooper's rehabilitation period will be lengthy, his wife said. "We have had a difficult time. It is a challenge," she said.
