I asked a friend of Jack's for an update on where he is and how he is doing. Below is Sandy's reply.
"Jack is still having a hard time with low BP and oxygen saturation. He has had to have rapid response called three days and yesterday he coded. He is in ICU stable and trying to find out what the problem is. The head of pulmonology thinks he would do better on the old fashion ventilators because the settings could be set for deep breaths every so many breaths to open the bottom of his lungs. He is now getting meds to raise his blood pressure. Please keep praying. Peace, Sandy" It doesn't look good Jeff. Please pray for him whenever, wherever you can. Jack was moved to the VA hospital in Augusta, GA, several weeks ago. He was showing signs of improvement when he first got there. He was able to sit up in a wheel chair several times, but now has take a turn for the worse.
