There are a lot of ULPower EAB planes out there: RVs, Zeniths, etc. They must have made the right decisions so they can use the cheap ("bad")  auto fuel. (I don't buy E10-91 since my cars' engines were designed for regular unleaded with ethanol.)

Don't take all the posts that identify possible problems with "auto" fuel to mean you should *never *consider using it. Rather take them as a heads up on possible issues and make sure you have accounted for all the possible problems of it's use given the aircraft you intend to use it in.   Consider handling, storage, comparability with entire fuel system from tanks, fuel lines, fuel system components, different sources with different additives, the engine you're using, etc., etc.,.

If you can comfortably cover all the issues, the savings could be substantial.  With a well designed system, the ongoing quality and consistency of the fuel would be the major concern.

Good luck and happy (cheap) flying............
