No, because exactly that was fixed by Werner Fink/SuSE for ksh93r+ (and
at least for en_US.UTF-8 and ja_JP.PCK it's working (and AFAIK Werner
tested it on all locales shipped with SuSE 10.1 and the codepath is the
same as in Solaris)) ... and it was pretty much obvious from the source,
too.
