AFAIK libcmd was a static library and not available in former times
and used as static lib internally from the Solaris commands.
In order to becom portable, I created libdeflt for cdrecord.
Is there no wish to have a portable ksh that offers this features
on any platform? If so, then it cannot use the Sun lib.
