Did you change the TABTAB+CTRL/V patch? I think the current version
with it's reduced state machine in gmacs mode (TABTAB works everywhere
and the TAB character itself can only be entered via CTRL/V+TAB) is
easier for shell rookies and may make ksh93 attractive to bash users
as well.
