many of the fixes in the RELEASE files must be taken in context
for example, the race condition bug came from a user with many large
scripts that fork many processes over a span of weeks

are we (non-sun) privy to the solaris ksh88 bug list and current outstanding 
bugs?
how about a wc for quick comparison?
