------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-07-30 12:52 UTC ------- arrrrrrgh..... Ok, I finally found out exactly what's happening. I use a Check Point firewall and had the nntp application protections turned on. Checkpoint, it their infinite wisdom, fails to regonize the LIST OVERVIEW.FMT command as being valid, and so the firewall sends a RST to the client. This is what was causing the crash. Therefore, this is really a failure to gracefully handle a RST from the server's IP when attempting to download headers. I'll take up the issue the command being interpreted as an attack with Check Point seperately. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
