Thanks. It did. I installed the current openSuSE 10.3 kernel on top of SLES10 SP1, which worked after specifying --nodeps. KVM-62 then built and ran with your patch, and is rather faster than KVM-37 for networking... I should probably give up on SuSE kernels and install a plain kernel.org one.
