This is not a forwarded call.

Check the display on the 7665's. This may be your only chance.

You can change the ring tones for CO lines on the 7665's, but your options
are limited to 8. If there is one phone in the bar, I would use the 7630
which can provide up to 30 ring tones.

If you are using POTS phones, you may have a problem. Your only chance then
is to use an external ringer with an analog port programmed for the other
incoming lines.

Subject: KX-T: Different ringing tone

Hi all

I have a KXTDDA 200 (UK version) with a fractional primary rate ISDN line
connected, 40 X 7665 & 32 SLT

The incoming ringing goes to the first ICD group which rings the reception
phone first and then after 5 seconds rings the phones in the bars upstairs

All of this works fine but the customer wants some way for the staff to know
that the call ringing is being forwarded from the reception phone and not a
direct call into the bar

Some form of different ring tone or the call appearing on a different button
would work but because the line is a fractional rate all the lines are in
the same group and cant be assigned to a different group.

Anyone any ideas how I can get these calls to ring differently?

Any help would be appreciated

Jody
