Ok I've answered pieces of multiple posts in one
message here so hopefully it makes sense, I'll have to
find where I wrote the rev # of the systems hopefully
shortly post them up.

I've done this and moved cabinets.

As far as I can gather for her it's any line, and I
assume she sees the most problems cause of more use
but there are other extensions which are used more
with no issues reported at all. In this building the
problems are centered in one room that has 10
extensions in it that are also "roving desks" where
more that one person uses the cube. I did hear about a
problem or two from else where in the building but
that was short lived (i think).

I've moved the extension of the lady from cabinet to
cabinet in the process so I can't tie it to one or the
other also when I did that I didn't get any reports
from other places of the problem spreading but I don't
know what other extensions would be grouped there off
the top of my head.
I didn't get much info on this short they tested it
was over the phone from the electrician that ran the
wire doing some troubleshooting as well, he got the
call first I guess when the phone company stated there
was a short inside the building.

I don't think so but I can get the revision #'s soon

My thoughts on which to disconnect were getting me
back to my original question, What if they lady
haveing the most problems isn't the extension with the
actual problem just affected by it. But I'm also
thinking I'm going to ditch all the analog pair next
time i'm there too as they are only used by one to two
people.

Corrosion isn't likely as this building was only built
3 months ago or so. the broken wire was the theory I
was leaning toward but when we moved her to another
cable in the same room is seemed to persist for her
which is when I really started getting frustrated. But
coming here was my next step.

Both of the unit's we've tried were brand new in the
box 2-3 months ago I don't remember exactly when I
installed this room, it was after the majority of the
building was done. they were waiting on the cubes to
be delivered.

Yeah like I said I wasn't there when they tested it
but I guess they had some big thing that tested a
whole bunch of pairs at once that they hooked to the
66 blocks. I'm hoping they do know a little though
cause a short was where i was leaning just didn't know
where.
