This voicemail unit has but 2 ports and is not expandable. The TVS75 is very
limiting. If the new tenant is a separate business, you have to assign a
custom menu to each port for each business. That means one port each. Not
enough to handle 4 to 8 calls. I suggest they invest in a TVA50 which give
greater capability and allows separate to a point tenant service. Check and
see if the TVS75 has Time service settings. I don't believe it does. This is
what the TVA50/200 uses. Some recordings may intertwine between tenants, but
they are things like good morning and the like. I also suggest if you get
the TVA-50, DEFINETLY go for the remote LAN card. It allows off premise
programming of the unit even to the point where they can do remote recording
through the phone on custom menus as well as prompts. This also gives the
Voicemail to email conversion. The emails are .WAV files and can be played
in any player. Basically if they do this, the TVA50 becomes sort of an email

I also wanted to mention that in programming it only shows port service
not port/truck service. Could it be that the VM version does not have the
capability to do trunk service?

I have a customer that has a new tenant and I am adding the new tenant to
an
existing TD816 with a TVS75 and I made the tenants phone lines trunk group
2
but I cannot remember how to set the voicemail so the that if the tenant
does not answer the voicemail will answer using a different custom service
menu. It has been a few years working on this system and I appreciate any
help I can get. Thanks
