I have used the Russian kxtd programator for many years. Always works great. It wont do Win. 7 but sure works good on XP.

That's a tough one.
I've never used the TD171 card.

The work around I would do only helps if they only need caller id in
one or two locations and one or two lines- that is wire a jack
directly to the co lines in parallel with the ksu, then you can plug
in a standard cid box to catch those lines. I do that at home and put
a giant display cid box on the kitchen wall. Since you say it's a
dual cabinet, chances are they want it on multiple lines and multiple
extensions though.

sorry I can't say much more than that

Looking for some guidance......

I have in operation a couple of TD-1232 dual cabinets. The Windows software is saying i'm using -6 or higher, according to the software. Slave cabinet
was upgraded from a -2 to the current -6.

I'm wanting to be able to use the SLT caller ID feature with a SLT Wal*Mart
caller ID box. I believe this is possible based on all of articles i've
read.

I've never been able to use the SLT caller ID feature from the TD171 card. The card has been installed for a couple years and every once in a while I
get back to trying to make this dang thing work.

The TD171 card is in the bottom slot of the slave KSU.

I've changed the programming for the caller ID to be on port 2 and am unable
to get any SLT device to provide the caller ID function.

Does the card need to be in a certain cabinet or slot?

Does the software version need to be a certain version to use the card?

Perhaps my software is giving me wrong information on what -version i'm
using and it needs to be upgraded to something more recent for the TD171
card to work with?

Would I lose any station programming settings if I moved the TD171 card to another card slot? (All station cards are full in both cabinets and I don't
want to lose any existing station settings by moving or swapping card
slots.)

What could be the issue?

Thanks!
