That's a tough one. I've never used the TD171 card. The work around I would do only helps if they only need caller id in one or two locations and one or two lines- that is wire a jack directly to the co lines in parallel with the ksu, then you can plug in a standard cid box to catch those lines. I do that at home and put a giant display cid box on the kitchen wall. Since you say it's a dual cabinet, chances are they want it on multiple lines and multiple extensions though.
