For those who are interested, the tvs200 that lost it's voice had a bad harddrive. (Port card was ok). The front led was not on steady, itwould do a series of 7 blinks and a pause. That was the first clue from Pana tech support. And when I got on site to log in with the pc it just said "hard drive failure".
Brand new unit so I replaced it. Now the new tvs200 has new features and the prompts are in the new lady's voice (same voice as the tvs 50). Voice prompts have changed numbers too.
