BY PHONE?
I've been thinking about an old 486/586 system connected to the 1232 and TVS
system with two different cables, running PC anywhere in the
background...then dial into the junk computer, PC anywhere gives you access
to the system, complete remote programming. Dreaming now, anyone have other
ideas?

You can do it.
You need to access the system administrator box. Choose a class of service
that hasn't been used. Then in it you turn on "Auto Forwarding" it's one of
the last cos selections. When you enable that it will ask you for the box to
transfer to, the type of transfer (move or copy) and the delay time, minimum
is 5 minutes.

Now set up a box to use that cos, either a new box or an existing one.

Just don't ask to change any menu settings. I wish there was a way to do
that by phone!

Good luck
Charles
