Here is an existing use case: A friend of mine is developing a physical constraint software, that will be able to calculate how an homogeneous matter would crack under a given set of forces. The program would be used by people from aircraft and weaponry industry who will apply it to matters that are industrial secrets. As a very short part of the algorithm is to be kept secret by the company who created it, the company would like that the program could be executed without being disclosed, while giving guarantee to the user that the processed data would not leak from their session.
