Winograd is a teacher and grassroots activist who will vote to cut
funding for the war in Iraq and bring the troops home, restore civil
liberties denied under the Patriot Act, and redirect the war-billions
into quality education and universal affordable single-payer health
care. Her candidacy is endorsed by Jim Hightower, Daniel Ellsberg, Ron
Kovic, Gore Vidal, Ed Asner, Cindy Sheehan, Scott Ritter, Ray McGovern,
Robert Greenwald, Dolores Huerta, Ed Begley, Jr., Mike Farrell, Howard
Zinn, Helen Caldicott, and many others.

for US Congressional hearings on exiting Iraq.
