The National Chicano Moratorium Committee and its many endorsing organizations will hold the 40th Commemoration March and Rally of the August 29, 1970 demonstration in which journalist Ruben Salazar and two others were killed by Sheriffs. The event will take place AUGUST 28, 2010 beginning at Belvedere Park with a march to Salazar Park (renamed from Laguna Park in honor of Ruben Salazar).
