On VOTESMART interest group ratings ARE voting record. This is the % the representative VOTED either in favor OR against the interest group's position on the issue. ALL senators & congressperson's VOTING RECORDS are on this site. The site explains this or call them. Most of the liberal groups have a higher percentage rating to Obama's voting record than to Kucinich, but both are excellent from the liberal perspective. If you are a conservative or a rightish republican, you may think differently. Check interest group ratings for ANY republican - Eric Cantor or YOUR republican congressional representative - the difference in voting record will be stark. *Try going to any interest group. Labor & Environment are my main issues, but it is easy to try all of them. Kucinich & Obama are frequently voting 100% of the time with most liberal groups positions on the bills. Actually using Vote-Smart is one way I decided between Hillary Clinton & Barack Obama - Obama voted more liberal. The facts are the facts.
