One of my most treasured possessions is an old poster, which I acquired in the
early seventies at a conference in Santa Cruz, to which I had hitchhiked with a
friend.

It is on yellow paper, and the graphic is done in brushstrokes, making it look
Oriental (Japanese).  It is of a Vietnamese woman, carrying a gun.  She has a
straw hat and is seen walking along a trail or ricepaddy, away from the
viewer.  The poster was put out by American Documentary Films in San Francisco
and New York, a radical group that has produced some good films and may still
be in existence.

It is the poem that touches my heart.Romi/Blue

The wheel of the law turns

without pause.

After the rain, good weather.
In the wink of an eye

The universe throws off
its muddy clothes.

For ten thousand miles
the landscape

spreads out like a beautiful brocade
Light breezes.  Smiling flowers.

High in the trees, amongst
the sparkling leaves

All the birds sing at once.
Men and animals rise-up reborn.

What could be more natural?
After sorrow, comes joy.
