OK, I see. I thought the notice was mandatory, and not our policy. I'll
patch to site to get it clear.

Still, shindig's README is very informal and I can't see how such a
notice fits without significantly changing its character and possibly
scaring potential users:

It looks way more natural in our NOTICE file, where any user would look
for information before (re)distributing:
