+1, that's the other use case I just described in my previous mail; it
is clear that Lab don't publish any release, but allowing such kind of
contributions IMHO it would benefit not only the Lab activity itself,
but the whole ASF: experimenting a new idea --> proposing it to the
existing community --> if the community accept it, Lab worked for the
purposes that aims.
And it is already owned by the ASF, it doesn't have the need to face a
"not-created-here" issue (SoftwareGrants, repackaging, ...)
