Me too!  I think it's a Pavlovian response to enforced coach trips to
Buckfast Abbey as a child

Since I'd never heard a Gregorian chant until I came here (my DH likes them and has lots of recordings), I don't have the same excuse. The only way Pavlov comes into my reaction to them is that they make me want to howl like a Pavlov's dog <g> They are so indescribably *sad*... and monotonous... and they go on, and on, and on... Oh-woooooe


Relaxing? Only when he changes the disc to something else :) Which, unfortunatly, doesn't happen all that often; the things put him to sleep (so, I guess, they do relax him, but since almost anything puts him to sleep, I wish he'd choose a different form of relaxation <g>), and the disc repeats and repeats, and repeats... For me, they're not like "little death" (sleep), they're like the real thing.
