Gentle Spiders,
Originally, I was introduced to the artist via a set of photos of
progress of a piece of work. That was very, very large (slow even on
broadband), so, when I forwarded it to my "smut list", I forwarded only
two photos - before and after - and the URL for his website.
But, the longer I thought about it, the more it seemed to be something
that ought to be shared with more than just my sub-rosa recipients :)
Trompe-l'oeil is not a new form of art but, since it's not very popular
now, we don't often see it. And I didn't even know that there were
*any* modern practitioners of the art, never mind ones as good as that
guy is...
