I'm intrigued. What is the strangest place you've met a fellow lacemaker?

I was in the Student Union bar last night with a group of fairly random people (I knew most of them, but didn't realise that they also knew each other). Anyway, as is fairly normal, the conversation started with sports and sporting injuries, eventually, we got on to talking about volunteering and the Duke of Edinburgh Award at which point one of the (male!) hockey players made some comment about having used lacemaking for the Skills section of the Award! We both had to admit to not having touched a pillow in months because of other commitments. Anyway, there you go, my most random lacemaking moment. I'm not sure I'll ever beat it, but I can work at that one!
