Thanks Avital and Jean. Just got the digest so sorry for delay in response! I just wanted some verification from an owner of the Fuji that they were pleased with it really. I've had a look at some pics entered in the competition gallery on the my fuji website and was impressed with those as they are by 'real' people not professional photographers. Just waiting for a reply from the friend who works for Fuji to see if he can get it cheaper than my net searches then I'll be off and away!! Still think it seems excellent value for money against the cost of a digital SLR body!
