Torchon was being made in the East Midlands at that time but 'Torchon Bedfordshire' I don't know and I'm not sure about the 'Buckinghamshire spider pattern bobbin lace' either! Another *mistake* is she mentions Nottinghamshire when I'm sure she must have been referring to Northamptonshire, a commonly made mistake, the three main East Midlands lacemaking counties being Beds, Bucks and Northants.
