>>>From: Christine Lardner [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] They are just too busy. It seems that women have many more calls on their time these days, .... Although they enjoy making lace they only do 2 hours a week at class. It can be disheartening as a teacher, as I feel they are learning very little, <<<
Don't be disheartened. If they're still coming back, they are getting what they want from your class. I am one who sometimes enrolls in a class just to make an "appointment" to do that craft (or whatever) for a couple of hours a week. I may not have time to work between classes, and may feel guilty (for what I'm not doing) when I do work on that between classes, but my official class time, that I paid for, is for focussing on that subject. I may not need a teacher (or not very much), I may know enough about the subject to be able to work on my own, but I need to be in the official place in order to get myself to go that direction. So many arts/crafts, so little time! Robin P.
