Mother, dear, you forget about the body of Azaria Chamberlain which was never found in the Ayers Rock vicinity.... Oh, but she has been, apparently! There's been big stories about a Victorian hunter and his mates who claims he shot a dingo at that time, and found that the dingo was carrying a baby in its mouth. They didn't want to tell anyone, as hunting is forbidden in a National Park, so he claims one of his mates brought the baby back and buried it somewhere. But then, he refused to say any more, and I don't think his mates have been contacted, so no-one knows if the story if true or not...
