When I was an editor, my philosophy was "Don't give publicity to a bad book." But then I was editing a bike-club newsletter, and bad books could kill. Where it's a matter of taste, I'd say slag the book, but in enough detail that a reader could tell that he disagrees with you without seeing the book in question. -- Joy Beeson [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.earthlink.net/~joybeeson/ http://home.earthlink.net/~beeson_n3f/ west of Fort Wayne, Indiana, U.S.A. where it's suddenly autumn. - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
