I saw the two ladies who asked Bridget Cook which thread to use for Idrija lace in her book when she was the speaker at Poole Bobbn Lace Circle. They said she took them to Tim Parker's stand and picked out Brok 36/3 as being most suitable, which they then bought and made one of the patterns from the book.
