Bev, I had one of those from PayPal. It did not look right. I went to my
account and all was well...nothing about suspending the account. So I called
PayPal, a very nice young man looked at the account, too, we checked my last
purchase...all was well. He recommended that I change to another CC and
change my password.

I did all this and no trouble ensued on any front.

Subject: [lace] watch out for spoof ebay email

  Hi everyone and Tess

This is not about lace, but a lot of us use ebay and paypal to do with
lace - Tess mentioned something about having an account suspended - I do
not remember if it was ebay or paypal that Tess mentioned - however I got
what I suspect is spoof e-mail asking me for, clearly, all the info about
my ebay account. It certainly looked phishy to me, and the address in the
browser window was nothing like ebay. I did not want to share my
information on that page. I have reported it to ebay, after checking out
their help topic on the matter. There is something you can do if you have
already filled out a form in a fake window, thinking it was real (this is
  also in the help topics).
In any case, the message apart from mentioning my 'problems' but not
saying what they were, said if I don't fill it out, my account will be
  ok anyway...which again sounds phishy...
