Hi All, Came across the following listing on ebay today - anyone know
what sort of lace they were used to make.

The long thin things look rather like fancy cocktail sticks - belied by the fancy images around the photo, and with damaged ends to boot! Many years ago I needed a couple of extra pairs to get around a corner, and wanted them *now* couldn't wait for mail order so I used some little plastic cocktail forks (2 prongs) with handles very similar to these. I used a hot knife to 'weld' the ends of the prongs together so that I could add a spangle and hey presto improvised bobbins!

As for the two round items, I suppose you could lay one on top of a BL pillow, stick pins in the holes and use it to make Tenneriffe/Sol lace
