HI All,
Last year my Scottish friend here, that I had taught to make English style
Bobbin lace, died and I inherited the lace books she had collected to add to
my own shelf full of lace books. One of these books "Modeles Inedits de
Dentelles au Fuseau Cluny de Brioude" by Mick Fouriscott and Odette Arpin.
I am itching to get started on two of the patterns for a collar and
matching cuffs from this book but could do with a translation from French to
English of the text that goes with each pattern if anyone can help me in
this way.
The pattern I am interested in is the Collar and Cuffs on pages 42-45 I just
can't read French at all though I can make out what some of the words must
mean. If anyone on the list can help me by translating the few pieces of
text for both patterns over these pages I would be very grateful.
