Me, I'm a dog person and dogs rarely try to get onto your pillow or bat around the bobbins (although I'm sure some big ones have knocked pillows over with their tails).<

My dog (overweight Border Collie) has knocked my pillow over when shaking "big bird" (supposedly dog soft toy ostrich), which he also likes to hold down with one paw and "pluck". I didn't swear - just told him he would be sorting out the bobbins if he did it again, but then I'm always telling him that he's got to do the vacuuming next time since it's the pile from his soft toys which litters the floor.

I'm currently swearing a lot - trying to get the correct colour (yellow or brown) paper string trapped in the correct pair of threads in Eva Kortelahti's sunflower. The lady sitting next to me in my lace class said she couldn't understand what I was muttering and swearing about (I only say "swearwords") until she started one of the angels in the book this week. Now she's joined in and she's only working with one strand of white string at a time. I dread to think what she'd be saying of she had closely packed strings of different colours. The swearing's working, and the sunflower is taking shape.
