Miriam, If you look in the archives, you'll see that I had the same problem. IIRC, you have to choose "US", not international or world, and put in "Jerusalem." The problem is not that Israel is so small but that Google maps does not support Israel, although we have a Google office in Tel Aviv. Also, the Google satellite photos are not nearly as detailed as for other parts of the world, although the ones in Google Earth are pretty good now.
