Some time ago Sue Duckles asked for advice about newsletters. I am sure many of us are involved in newsletters and trying to fill them and keep them interesting. I love crossword puzzles and then thought about lace related puzzles. I found this free site on the internet http://puzzlemaker.discoveryeducation.com/ . It is wonderful - you type in the words and the computer assembles the crossword. There are other word puzzles as well. I then discovered that I love cryptic puzzles but I am utterly useless at thinking out the clues!!! So I wondered if we all put our heads together and come up with clues - and the answers of course -we could have interesting crossword puzzles to put in our newsletters. The puzzles would probably be the same the world over but does it matter? Sue came up with these clues: How's about ' Latin library rose.... rosalibre' or.... what your doctor prescribes for bedrest.... pillow, honey farmers' in wood.... bees knees (bobbins), bed of summer flowers.... roseground, sloth-like girl..... lazy suzy, The only one I could think of was ..Shine a torch on your lace - torchon!!! I am waiting in great expectation for brilliant clues and answers!!!
