Hello Devon and all,
perhaps we shouldn't take the picture as "true" how it looks. At that
time painter had several things they used as equipment to make persons
more important or so. It could be tha the collar belonged the painter
not Shakespeare itself.
On the other hand the news about him are so different who knows relly
how reach he was, which possition in sociaty he had.
I like the painting and I know that there are things in the past we
will never fid out.
